Icelandic Commemorative Vase 1973

This week, we are showcasing this 1973 Icelandic commemorative vase as our #ObjectoftheWeek. This is a presentation gift from the Icelandic Football Association offering ‘centenary greetings’ to the Scottish Football Association. Iceland’s Football Association are also known as Knattspyrnusamband Islands or KSI. The design of the vase reflects the country’s rugged volcanic terrain.
