We follow public health and government guidance in relation to visitor safety.
Our priority is always the safety of our visitors and our staff and volunteers. In line with Government guidelines involving the Covid-19 pandemic we have introduced some procedures to help ensure that visiting the museum is a relaxing and enjoyable experience. These include pre-booked timed entry, enhanced cleaning, and hand sanitising stations. We are also retaining protective screens for the time being to provide a little extra protection.
Please do not visit the Museum, take a Stadium Tour or visit the Café if you, or anyone in your household has any symptoms of Covid-19.
Timed visiting slots
To achieve physical distancing, we are limiting the number of people in the museum and on a stadium tour through the introduction of timed slots. Booking in advance will be necessary for your arrival with slots initially being available to coincide with the advertised guided stadium tour times. You may book your tickets online via our booking partner Art Tickets or, if you are having difficulties, call us on 0141 616 6139.
If you arrive before your booked time slot then you may visit the museum until your stadium tour departure time.
Please sanitise your hands on entering the stadium and report to reception where you will be welcomed and directed to the café area for the checking in procedure before entry to the museum.
Whilst there are no windows in the museum space, the air handling unit located on the roof of the stadium provides an adequate level of air changes at all times.
All staff, volunteers and visitors should wear a mask whilst within the building unless they have proof of a medical reason which would exempt them from doing so.
Hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed throughout the museum, and please make use of these. There will be regular cleaning of touchpoints including elevator buttons, door handles, bannisters and toilets.
